On Wednesday, July 7, 2021 our senior adult community at Faith Lutheran Church gathered for a devotional service titled, “Thanksgiving & Praise!” The service included a devotional message by Pastor Don Kasper, titled “The Awesomeness of God’s Creation.” We enjoyed the musical talents of McCaryn Gaty, who blessed us with artistic renditions of movements from J. S. Bach’s Cello Suites in G and C Major; Joyce Best, who accompanied hymn singing; Austin Angerman, whose harp tones added warmth and depth to our praises, and Janine Alford, who joyfully lead hymn singing and read Psalm 148. The gathering was a blessed time of rejoicing and renewal through the Word, teaching, music, and reflection. These devotional services will continue as regular quarterly offerings at Faith Lutheran Church.
