The program is “Grace-Full Women” and will include devotions,
Bible study, skit, quilt making, and lunch provided by your hosts.
We will start at 9 a.m. and hope to be done by 12:30 p.m.
RSVP for the event by contacting Joanna Roche, or by signing up at the ministry center in the Narthex. The retreat is open to all women at Faith, their friends, and neighbors. Please let us know by August 18th so we can have sufficient materials and food.

Kids Picnic at Garey Park
For families of Preschool and Elementary Age Kids
SUNDAY, AUGUST 8th 2:00 – 7:30 PM
• Picnic in the park! BYO picnic lunch and meet at the Derby Pavilion.
• Keep cool at the awesome Splash Pad! The nearly 7,000-square-foot amenity
offers 28 water features. (Come any time between 2 – 7:30 PM)
• The Play Ranch is two acres full of fun! Two nature-inspired playgrounds
offer age-appropriate activities for children ages 2-5 and 5-12.
• Plenty of open green spaces for running, frisbee, and kite flying too.
• When you come to the gate at Garey Park, just say you are with
Faith Lutheran Church (or mention “Jonathan Loesch”) and they will let you in.
NO payment required! We have the Derby Pavilion reserved just for Faith families…and their friends!

Virginia Lazenby’s presentation on Downsizing covers all aspects, including quality of life, aging successfully, and how to choose a senior living community best suited to your needs and desires. Finally, Virginia will discuss her philosophy of downsizing in five easy steps.
Virginia Lazenby is founder of Seniors Living Smarter Services, and host of the popular monthly Seniors Living Smarter seminars. An active Texas Realtor and Certified Senior Housing Professional, Mrs. Lazenby is also a fervent and innovative advocate for seniors. Her mission is to educate, equip, and inspire seniors to live life with a plan, and with the best quality of life in view.

Faith’s own Pastors Don Kasper and Paul Howe are serving Christ Lutheran Church in Noack Texas. On Sunday, August 8, Christ Lutheran will do their annual Brisket & Sausage Fest at the Thrall FireMan’s Hall. Pastor Kasper will be at Faith this Sunday, August 1st, and happy to sell you a $13.00 Ticket to enjoy the food and come and join in the fellowship and fun!

All items should be new.
Please do not include any metal or glass.
